Troubles, Tragedy & Trauma, Northern Ireland, UK
TTT - Troubles, Tragedy & Trauma was established in 2016. The project was founded by Michael O'Hare. Michael’s Sister, Majella was killed in 1976 when she was just 12 years old. TTTNIUK aims to highlight legacy issues with regards to the troubles in Northern Ireland, encourage reconciliation and promote positive mental wellbeing for those affected by the troubles.

TTTNIUK Charity Golf Day
Join us on Friday 9 October 2026 at Hendon Golf Club for the TTTNIUK Charity Golf Day, raising funds and bringing people together in support of a great cause.
Tee times: 11:00am and 1:00pm
Teams: £400 per team of four
Sponsor a hole: £50
Evening guests: £35 per person
There will be team prizes, a nearest-the-pin challenge and an award for the best individual player.
You do not need to play golf to get involved. We would love to see supporters join us for the evening, with separate tickets available for non-golfing guests.

Meet the Team
Michael O'Hare
Founder & Trustee
Born and raised in Whitecross, Co. Armagh, Michael has experienced first-hand the harsh reality of the Troubles. His sister, Majella, was tragically killed in 1976 and from this, Michael's dedication to promoting peace and reconciliation was realised. Ireland's history has always been a great passion of Michael's and he has recently graduated from St. Mary's University, Twickenham, with a master’s degree in Irish Studies. Michael's vision for Troubles, Tragedy and Trauma is that through compassion, understanding and kindness, we can begin to heal the hurt of the past and work towards a peaceful future.
